Female, Pointer X, (medium size), year of birth 2006. Found wandering on the streets. She has a kind and gentle character.

Female, Pointer/Shepherd X, (medium size), approx 5 years old. She was wandering outside the shelter for a couple of days, before she decided to enter inside.

There were indications that she must had puppies recently but didn’t find any around. Charming character can go for walks without a leash.

Male, Doberman X, (medium size), approx. 1 year old. Brought from an Army Base near Larnaca, He’s a very friendly, nice character and can do fine also as a second dog. When he came he was limping badly probably because of a blow at the leg and shoulder joint. After proper treatment the limping diminished.

Female, Sharpei X, (medium size), date of birth 18/10/08. Previous owner was an Englishman who didn’t take her back to the UK.. Enjoys company and attention.

Male, Cyprus poodle X, (small size), age 1 year old. Found wandering on the beach at new port’s area. Nice and gentle character.

Male, Retriever X, (medium size), approx. 2 years old.. Admitted as a stray, friendly character.

Male, Lab/Pointer X (large size), date of birth 2006. He’s a big and strong boy, also he’s the leader of his pack.

Male, Lab X, (medium size), age approx.2 years old. Found tied outside the sanctuary. Gentle character, initially a bit shy but not now.

Male, Crossbreed, (large size), age approx. 2 years old. Big but friendly dog who loves long walks.

Female, Collie X, (medium size), date of birth approx. 2002. Nice and gentle character, loves walks and enjoys company and attention.

Male, Crossbreed (small size), date of birth approx. Sep2004. Found wandering at Pyrgos village. Nice character.

Female, Terrier X, (small size), age approx. 14-18 months. Found running on the motorway and heavily pregnant. Very friendly and gentle dog.

Female, Pointer X, (medium size), date of birth March08. Admitted as a stray, she’s very lively and full of energy.

Male, Husky X, (large size), date of birth Sep09. He and 5 other brothers and sisters had been led to a vet to be put down. Fortunately the vet was a
compassionate person and called animal lovers to give a second chance to this litter.

Female, Terrier X, (small size), date of birth Feb09). She and two brothers dumped near the church, terrified and in poor condition, when they were a couple of months old. Now all that is behind her and became a very friendly and playful bitch.

Female, Staffordshire X, (medium size), date of birth 2005. She’s got only one eye but there’s no problem with that. She’s lively and friendly with humans. Loves walks and ball games, throw catch and fetch is her favorite.

Male, Great Dane/Sharpei X, (large size), date of birth approx. Nov07. Admitted as a stray, he is a big and strong boy, loves walks and companion.

Female, older Great Dane (large size). She was found wandering by the church, near the sanctuary. Suspected she had been used as a breeding machine and has been dumped when she stopped breeding.

Male, Pointer X (medium size), approx.1 year old. He was brought to the shelter by a foreigner who was about to leave Cyprus. He’s very friendly, playful and gentle. He must be the only dog in the house because he doesn’t like any other dog.

Female, Cyprus Poodle X (small size), date of birth approx. Sep08. Found wandering at Yermasoyia area. She has a gentle nature and is very friendly, calm, playful and lively.

Female, Crossbreed (small size), approximately 2 years old. Found near the hospital with her 9 puppies. The litter was about 2 weeks old and most of them found a home. She’s a gentle, friendly and caring bitch.

Male, Lab X (medium size), 18 months old. Admitted as a stray. He suffered terrible abuse (sheath and tail cut off). Initially he was terrified but now he started regaining his confidence and trust.
